This tall vintage cabinet was made in Shanxi Province in Northern China and dates from circa 1920. It has been restored with some new materials, such as the two removable inner shelves. Its two doors are mounted on wooden hinges and below the doors sit four drawers. The brass handles have the shape of stylised tassles. The wood grain shows through the warm cream-grey finish, giving this piece a beautifully textured appearance that can anchor a contemporary interior. It could be used as a media cabinet, or for storing linens.
