This Japanese-made ceramic sake jug has a beautifully textured Nagashi glaze, two shades of green, the darker has a crackle finish and the lighter is shot through with brown flecks. Handcrafted, the sides of the jug have been modestly pinched during throwing, creating two indentations for the finger and thumb to secure a hold.
This special, purpose-made piece has an accompanying sake cup to purchase separately.
It measures 6cm in diameter at its widest and is about 12cm high. It holds approximately 150ml.
