Chimes of Bavaria

This amazing wind chime is tuned to the joyful tones of the alphorn melody from the finale of Johannes Brahms' Symphony nº1 in C minor. The world-known German composer spent over 15 years writing this piece, which he completed in 1876.

The name of this chime is a tribute to the rich Bavarian heritage, in particular to the delicious Weizenbier beer also called wheat beer, which is brewed there. In accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, it is made using only water, malt, hops and yeast for the very finest quality and flavour. We adhere to similar principles to make our Bavaria Windchime: it is tuned using pure musical intervals for the most beautiful sound. The green colour reminds of Bavarian countryside: rolling hills, pine forests and wheat fields, as the image burnt into the wood of the wind catcher.

This wind chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.
