Chimes of Provence

This beautiful chime is tuned to the lovely scale from Erik Satie's Gnossienne nº1, written in 1890.

The name of the wind chime is a tribute to Provençal landscapes in southern France. In that region, as the air gets impregnated with intense scents of lavender and rosemary, it delights the senses and inspires the mind. In 1888 for instance, the impressionist Van Gogh produced there the famous painting Sunflowers. Just as it has inspired countless artists, the beauty of French countryside has inspired Woodstock Chimes to create the Provence Windchime: crystal clear notes, blue tones recalling summer sky and a sunflower on the wind catcher as a blink to Van Gogh's.

This wind chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.
