Learn to wow your guests with a range of delicious handmade Chinese dumplings. Led by Rouge founder, Yang Lei, this fun workshop will take you through traditional Chinese dumpling making as taught to Lei by her grandmother.
The class teaches you how to create and cook your own Chinese dumplings from scratch. The process begins with making the dumpling dough, this is then set aside while an array of fillings are carefully prepared. Savoury vegetables and meats are diced into tiny fragments to create delicious stuffing. Once the component parts are ready you can gather around a table and enjoy the collaborative effort of wrapping dozens of dumplings.
From there you’ll learn how to boil and fry the dumpling to perfection and prepare a complimentary dip. Finally, the rewards, gathering together to enjoy the food.
