This rustic wooden Chinese stool is from Shanxi province and dates from the 1940s. The three legs are painted in ochre with a darker seat, the wood grain is showing through the paint which gives this piece a beautiful textured appearance. This stool works well in a range of interiors, for seating or decorative purposes.
