Stitch Your Story - a Community Project 14th June 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm

A stitch gathering community project where participants from different community groups come together. Through stitching we express our unique thoughts, memories and emotions on pieces of clothes. We will connect all of the pieces to create a piece of art work which will be hang in Rouge in the coming months.

Asha is an interdisciplinary artist interested in exploring the interplay between nature and community to instigate conversations and change through the medium of colour, stitch, materiality and sensory workshops. Making colour from nature responsibly is central to her creative process.

Asha has led  workshops at the London Design Festival, and at Crafts Council gallery as part of the TOAST Creative residency.
