Vintage Tibetan Cabinet with Foral Patterns No1

This product is arriving UK on 31st March, you can pre order here or contact shop at lei@rouge-shop.co.uk

This stunning vintage cabinet comes from Tibet and dates from the 1920s. It has recently been reconditioned in an artisan workshop in Beijing with a natural look wood finish, and some distressed effects. The front of the piece features 6 highly decorative panels containing ornate floral artwork. Each panel depicts three lotus flowers, one of Buddhism’s most significant symbols. It is a symbol of blessings, enlightenment and mental purity. The lotus has its roots in mud, but blossoms into a beautiful flower.

Throughout the mainframe of the piece, subtle decorative flourishes have been applied in a fine gold coloured paint, with floral hints.

This stand-out cabinet has acres of storage space accessed through two sets of doors.  Its ample proportions mean it works well as an entrance console, linen closet, or kitchen/dining room storage.

Dimensions: 105(w) 38(d) 101(h) cm

Materials: Pine with brass fittings
