Hand Painted Rice Bowls from Jingdezhen - Purple Viola Flower

These attractive and delicate little rice bowls are hand-made and painted in Jingdezhen, the renowned ceramics capital of China. They are part of a range of tableware by an artisan ceramicist who specialises in creating glazes with variable colouring.

These unique little bowls have a dainty quality, are ideal for rice but can be used as a small side bowl for other items such as dumplings, tempura, sweets, treats, nuts or even to hold sauces and pickles.

Each piece has a different decorative design that has been hand-painted.

Each bowl measures 13 cm in diameter and is 6.8cm high. (Sizes vary a little as these items are handmade.)
