If you like making things with your hands, join us in our origami workshop to learn how to make modular flat stars.
Ori-gami in Japanese means literally “fold”+”paper”. It aims to transform a flat sheet of square paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Modular origami consists of the assembly of a number of identical modules to create a new 2D or 3D shape.
In this workshop, Sachiyo will teach how to make a flat star from 8 modules intertwined together without using any glue or tape. You will be guided through the fascinating process of producing a modular shape from just simple paper squares.
All materials included. No experience required. Children 6+ are welcome to join accompanied by an adult.
