Painted Vintage Chinese Elm Stool No.15

This rustic four legged wooden Chinese stool is from Shanxi province and dates from the 1940s. It has been lightly restored in an artisanal workshop in Beijing then painted this dark blue and rubbed back to reveal the wood grain. This gives this piece a beautiful textured appearance. This stool works well in a range of interiors, for seating, pot plants or decorative purposes.
