This porcelain coffee mug was hand made in Jingdezhen, the renowned ceramics capital of China. It is part of a range of tableware by an artisan ceramicist who specialises in creating glazes with variable colouring, requiring a heat of around 1250°C.
Inspired by regional landscapes the exterior displays a delicate wave of pink, blue and green, like an impression of distant hazy mountains The inside has a pale cream glaze with a signature swirl at its base, made by the maker's finger tips. These special mugs have a subtle variable glaze making them tactile and luxurious to hold.
The coffee mug measures 9.5cm in diameter and is 5.5cm high. (Sizes vary a little as these items are hand made.)

How It's Made
The Mountain Range collection was designed by ceramics designer Luo Xiao in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capitol of the world. He spent two decades developing the glaze variations and unique mug shape. Each glaze variation is inspired by different elements of nature.

The Mountain Range is porcelain yet sturdy. We recommend hand-washing but they can be placed in the top rack of dishwashers. Microwave safe.
